Lunarsol collaborated with activist, author, and speaker Leon Ford to develop the Leon Ford Self-Care Toolkit, a comprehensive resource designed to support mental health, healing, and personal growth. Rooted in Leon’s personal journey of resilience and transformation after surviving police brutality, the toolkit offers accessible wellness practices for educators, students, and community members.

Approach
Lunarsol shaped the design and structure of the toolkit, which includes an Educator’s Guide, Self-Care Handbook, and a Journal. Paired with LEON, the documentary film chronicling Leon’s life, the toolkit invites users to explore mental health, self-care, and community healing through:
- Guided journaling prompts addressing trauma, resilience, and self-reflection
- Meditation and mindfulness practices
- Movement and wellness activities promoting mental and physical health
- Discussions on social justice, healing, and community building.
